What seduction is

Category: Dating & Romance | By bukan | June 17, 2007 - 11:22 am |

On a wider context, seduction actually means tempting someone into some course of action. In some definitions, seduction is equated with influencing someone to go the wrong way and to perform an act that is regrettable in nature. This regrettable act is often seen as something that is sexual in nature.

The two definitions presented above seem a little negative in context. In modern usage, seduction may actually really involve sexual innuendos or sexual acts. In this day and age however, the sexual act that results form seduction is usually seen as mutual in nature. It is proper then to rephrase the general definition. Seduction is enticing someone into potential sexual acts. This does not mean however that the definition of seduction should end here. There is more to seduction than meets the eye.

Seduction is really all about the ability to charm someone into liking you. Seduction is about making someone like you a lot by appealing to the visual, olfactory, tactile or auditory senses. The new definition of seduction therefore has considerably broadened. One can be seductive by dressing well, smelling good or being a good cook, depending on who you are seducing. One can also practice the art of seduction with the initial intention of just attracting. This brings us to the topic of what seduction is not.
